Introduction
BandPin respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how BandPin collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the BandPin website, mobile applications, public pages, and related services.
BandPin helps people discover bands, events, and music-related places, save favorites, create public content, share that content through public links, and manage band-related profiles and media.
Information We May Collect
Depending on how you use BandPin, we may collect the following information:
- Account information such as email address, authentication details, and basic account settings.
- Profile information you choose to provide.
- Band profile information, band member information, event information, image uploads, links, and related public content you create.
- Favorites and other saved activity inside the app.
- Basic device, session, and usage information for performance, security, and troubleshooting.
- Location-related data if you choose to allow location access to discover nearby bands, events, or places.
- Support requests, bug reports, and messages you send to us.
- Limited purchase-related or access-related data needed to manage BandPin Access and any available free trial.
Photos, Camera, and Media
BandPin may let you upload photos from your device, choose photos from your photo library, or use camera-related features to capture or attach images for your band profile, band members, events, or other supported content.
If you use these features, the app may process image files and related technical data needed to preview, compress, upload, store, and display those images as part of the service.
We do not claim ownership of your uploaded media, but images and related public media may be stored and shown as part of your profile, public pages, shared links, and discovery features.
Location Data
BandPin may use location-related information to support map views, nearby discovery, event discovery, My Location, and location-based search.
- Your device location may be used if you grant permission.
- Band and event profiles may include location information chosen by the user who created them.
- Public pages may include map, city, venue, or approximate location details.
You control location access through your device settings. If you do not want a private home address associated with public content, use a more general or public-facing location instead.
Public Profiles, Public Links, and Previews
BandPin can generate public links for bands, events, and supported locations. Anyone with a public link may be able to open that public page.
Public pages may include information such as a band name, band member details, event title, image, description, date, venue, city, or map-related details that the content creator has chosen to make visible.
If a public BandPin link is shared in messaging apps, social platforms, browsers, or search engines, those services may generate previews using public page metadata such as title, description, and image. These third-party preview systems are not fully controlled by BandPin.
BandPin Access, Free Trials, and Purchases
BandPin Access is the subscription used for paid access to the app after any available free trial.
If a free trial is available, eligibility is determined by Apple App Store or Google Play rules.
If purchases are offered through Apple App Store or Google Play, billing, renewals, restore handling, subscription management, and refund handling are governed by the relevant platform’s rules and policies.
We do not receive your full payment card details from Apple or Google. We may receive limited information related to access status, subscription status, restore status, product identifiers, or similar purchase-related information needed to provide BandPin Access.

Sharing of Information
BandPin does not sell your personal information.
Information may be shared only where necessary to operate the service, such as with trusted service providers used for hosting, authentication, storage, subscriptions, maps, image handling, or support infrastructure.
Our primary backend and database provider is Supabase, configured in the EU region (Frankfurt, Germany).
BandPin may also rely on services such as Apple App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat, and map or location providers to support purchases, subscriptions, restore behavior, maps, search, and related functionality.
We may also disclose information where required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect users, rights holders, or the security of the service.
Cookies and Tracking

We do not state that BandPin uses advertising trackers or optional analytics unless such tools are actually implemented.
Data Retention
We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our terms, and manage account or access-related functionality.
Some limited information may be retained for backup, fraud prevention, security, accounting, payment-related recordkeeping, or legal reasons where applicable.

Depending on your location, you may have rights related to access, correction, deletion, objection, or restriction of your personal information.
If you are located in Norway or the EEA, you may also have rights under the GDPR.
Email Confirmation
You can still explore BandPin before email confirmation is complete, but some account actions may be limited until then.
Offline Use and Connectivity
BandPin depends on internet access for many live features, including maps, discovery, profile syncing, event loading, sharing, and account-related actions.
If your device is offline, the app or website may show a connectivity message or may not be able to load certain live content until your connection returns.

Account deletion is permanent and may remove your account data, favorites, band profile information, band member content, and connected band content.
If account deletion is available inside the BandPin app, you may use that feature to request deletion of your account and associated data. You may also contact us using the email address below for privacy-related requests.
