Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BandPin, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you should not use the BandPin app, website, public pages, or related services.

By creating an account, publishing content, sharing a public link, starting a free trial, purchasing BandPin Access, or otherwise using BandPin, you agree to these Terms and the BandPin Privacy Policy.

If you use BandPin on behalf of a band, venue, promoter, company, or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity to these terms.

Description of Service

BandPin is a platform designed to help users discover bands, explore events and music-related places, save favorites, browse map-based music discovery, share public content with others, and manage public band-related profiles and content.

Eligibility

To use BandPin, you must be allowed to use the service under applicable law. If you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated.

BandPin is not intended for children under 13 without any consent or permission required by applicable law.

User Accounts

Some features may require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activities that occur under your account.

If you create or manage a band profile, band member content, event listing, or other public page, you represent that you are authorized to do so and that the information you publish is not misleading, fraudulent, defamatory, or impersonating another person or entity.

Some account actions may require email confirmation before they become fully available.

Public Profiles, Public Links, and Visibility

BandPin may create public pages for band profiles, events, and selected location-based content.

If you use BandPin’s sharing features, the resulting public link may be accessible to anyone who receives it. Public pages may include information such as a band name, band member details, event title, image, description, date, venue, city, or map-related details.

Third-party services such as messaging apps, social platforms, browsers, or search engines may generate previews or cache public pages. BandPin does not fully control how those third-party services display or refresh public previews.

Location and Map Features

BandPin includes map and location-based features to help users discover bands, events, venues, and related places.

If you publish a location through a band profile, event, or other public content, you are responsible for the information you make public. Do not publish a private residential location unless you explicitly want it associated with that content.

BandPin may also use current-location and manual place search features to support nearby discovery, My Location, map search, and related app flows.

Camera, Photos, and Media

BandPin may let you upload photos from your device, choose photos from your photo library, or use camera-related features to capture or attach images for supported content such as band profiles, band member profiles, or events.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to use and publish any image, photo, logo, artwork, or other media you upload or share through BandPin.

We may remove, restrict, or refuse media that violates these terms or creates risk for users or the service.

User Content

BandPin may display band profiles, band member information, event information, images, descriptions, links, map-related information, and other user-provided or third-party content.

You retain ownership of content you submit, but by uploading or publishing content through BandPin, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, maintain, improve, secure, and present the service.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights to use and publish any content you upload or share.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use BandPin for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent purposes.
• Interfere with the operation, security, or integrity of the service.
• Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
• Upload, publish, or share content you do not have the right to use.
• Create fake, misleading, or impersonating profiles or event pages.
• Use scraping, bots, malware, or similar methods to exploit or disrupt the service.
• Use the service in a way that may damage BandPin or other users.

Content Accuracy and Availability

BandPin may display band profiles, event information, images, descriptions, and other user-provided or third-party content. We do not guarantee that all content is complete, accurate, current, or up to date at all times.

We may remove, restrict, or refuse content that violates these terms or creates risk for users or the service.

We also do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, flawless map results, successful delivery of every email, successful image upload on every network or device, perfect deep-link behavior, or uninterrupted operation when a device is offline or connectivity is unstable.

Intellectual Property

BandPin and its branding, design, service elements, software, and visual materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or misuse BandPin materials except as permitted by law or with prior permission.

Third-Party Services

BandPin may rely on or link to third-party services, platforms, or content. We are not responsible for third-party websites, services, content, or policies.

This includes social media platforms, music services, map services, payment platforms, app stores, subscription services, image handling infrastructure, and services that generate previews for public links.

BandPin Access, Free Trials, Payments, and Billing

BandPin Access is the subscription used for paid access to the app after any available free trial.

If a free trial is available, eligibility is determined by Apple App Store or Google Play rules.

If purchases are made through Apple App Store or Google Play, billing, subscription management, cancellation, renewals, restore handling, and refunds are generally handled according to those platforms’ rules.

Auto-renewing subscriptions continue until cancelled through the Apple App Store or Google Play account used for the purchase, unless otherwise stated by the platform.

Prices, included features, free trial availability, and eligibility may change over time to the extent permitted by applicable law and platform rules.

Offline Use and Connectivity

BandPin depends on internet access for many live features, including discovery, maps, account syncing, profile updates, event loading, sharing, and purchase or restore checks.

If your device is offline, some features may not work and the app or website may show an offline or connectivity-related message until connection is restored.

Termination and Account Deletion

We may suspend or terminate access to BandPin if necessary to protect the service, comply with legal obligations, address violations of these terms, or protect users, rights holders, or the service itself.

Account deletion is permanent and may remove your account data, favorites, band profile information, band member content, and connected band content.

Account deletion does not automatically cancel an active subscription managed through Apple App Store or Google Play. Subscription cancellation must generally be handled through the store account used for the purchase.

Public content that has already been shared, cached, indexed, or previewed by third-party services may continue to exist outside BandPin’s systems for some time.

Disclaimers

BandPin is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not make warranties of any kind regarding availability, reliability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, successful delivery of every email, deep-link behavior, restore behavior, map results, search results, or uninterrupted operation.

BandPin does not endorse any specific band, artist, venue, event, or third-party service unless explicitly stated.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BandPin shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.

Nothing in these terms limits liability where such limitation is not allowed under applicable law.

Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update the service or these Terms of Service from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

Continued use of BandPin after updated terms take effect means you accept the revised terms.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of Norway, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Disputes relating to the service shall be handled by the competent courts in Norway, unless mandatory rules provide otherwise.
